This is a recipe that created one day with all the "healthier" ingredients I had in my cabinet! I used 3 tbspoons of brown sugar, and still thought the crisp was a little too sweet for my taste, so you can customize it to your liking. Its not something to eat everyday, but it is definitely a healthier alternative to other desserts! Packed with complex carbs and fiber! :D

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. Mix apples with 1/2 tblspoon cinammon and 1/2 tblspoon brown sugar.
3. Place the apples evenly in the bottom of a 11x7 inch baking dish coated with cooking spray.
4. To complete the crisp, in a medium-sized bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and stir until the mixture resembles of course meal.
5. Melt butter and and to the mixture
6. Bake the crisp at 350°F for 30 minutes-50 min (depends on how you like the apples
7. If desired, top each apple crisp with low-fat vanilla ice-cream or any healthy vanilla alternative :) ENJOY
